NCAD is dedicated to educating the community through dance and to providing performing opportunities for local youth here in the North County area. One of our missions is to serve our community by putting on the highest-quality productions, complete with professional lighting/set design, backdrops, and flooring, professional and pre-professional dancers, and live accompaniment, and every year our “Nutcracker” does just that.
Our full length production of “The Nutcracker” at the Bob Burton Center for the Performing Arts in Fallbrook is usually held on the first weekend of December. We will be featuring hundreds of talented local youth, International guest artists, and the very talented San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra, conducted by Robert Gilson.
Every Summer NCAD performs at the Bob Burton Center for the Performing Arts to allow each dancer to showcase how much they have grown and learned. Each class learns a dance to perform for friends and family at this fun and entertaining dance production. Complete with beautiful costumes, professional lighting, and an encouraging atmosphere.
NCAD’s 10th annual summer performance: “X” August 13th-15th 2020!
Our Competition Dance Program focuses on sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth, and is designed for the serious dancer who wants to hone their skills. We value professionalism: our dances/costumes are always tasteful and age appropriate, and dancers are encouraged to work hard and be respectful, on time, and self-reliant. We make sure each child is fully prepared and trained and we give them the skills they need to succeed not only in this venue, but also in life! Competition season runs Sept-April, with auditions in May or June.
